License Agreement

This License Agreement ("Agreement") governs your use of 3D assets ("Assets") purchased from Fishboe 3D Assets ("we", "us", "our"). By purchasing and downloading any Asset, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. License Grant

Upon purchase, we grant you a non-exclusive, perpetual, worldwide license to use the Asset subject to the terms below.

✅ What You CAN Do (Permitted Uses)

  • Commercial Projects: Use Assets in commercial projects, including games, films, advertisements, and applications
  • Client Work: Use Assets in projects created for clients
  • Modifications: Modify, adapt, and transform Assets to suit your project needs
  • Multiple Projects: Use purchased Assets in unlimited personal or commercial projects
  • Renders & Screenshots: Use renders, screenshots, and images of Assets in marketing materials
  • Game Development: Include Assets in video games (including those sold commercially)
  • 3D Printing: 3D print Assets for personal use or as part of a larger project
  • Educational Use: Use Assets for educational purposes, tutorials, and learning

❌ What You CANNOT Do (Prohibited Uses)

  • Resale: Sell, redistribute, or sublicense the Asset files themselves (in original or modified form)
  • Stock/Marketplace: Upload Assets to other stock asset websites or marketplaces
  • Sharing: Share, give away, or distribute Asset files to others who have not purchased a license
  • NFTs: Use Assets to create NFTs or blockchain-based assets where the primary value is the Asset itself
  • Trademark: Register Assets or derivatives as trademarks or logos
  • AI Training: Use Assets to train AI/ML models for asset generation
  • Standalone Sale: Sell 3D prints of Assets as standalone products (unless significantly transformed into a new product)

2. License Types

Standard License (Included with Purchase)

All purchases include our Standard License which permits:

  • Use by a single individual or entity
  • Use in unlimited end products
  • Commercial use in projects with no revenue cap
  • Perpetual license (no expiration)

Extended/Enterprise License

For uses beyond the Standard License (e.g., team licenses, source file redistribution to clients), please contact us to discuss custom licensing arrangements.

3. Intellectual Property

We retain all intellectual property rights to the original Assets. Your license grants usage rights only—it does not transfer ownership or copyright of the underlying Asset.

4. Attribution

Attribution is not required but always appreciated. If you'd like to credit us, you can use: "3D assets by Fishboe" with a link to our website.

5. Warranty Disclaimer

Assets are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that Assets will be error-free, compatible with all software, or suitable for your specific purposes. We recommend testing Assets before committing to their use in production.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Assets.

7. Termination

This license is perpetual unless terminated. We may terminate your license if you breach any terms of this Agreement. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Assets and destroy any copies.

8. Updates to This Agreement

We may update this Agreement from time to time. Changes will not affect Assets already purchased under previous terms—those retain the license terms in effect at the time of purchase.
